I am detail-oriented, big picture thinker from Baltimore, Maryland. I went to an all-male Catholic high school, Mount Saint Joseph. I recently graduated from Texas Christian University located in Fort Worth, Texas with a double major in Strategic Communication and Religion. I was recently awarded the American Advertising Federation's Most Promising Multicultural Student of 2015. I am currently a Digital Investment Media Planner at Initiative - Los Angeles.

I recently interned with the digital advertising agency Razorfish as a Digital Media Planner. I specifically worked on Razorfish’s only global client, a tourism board, to build brand awareness, to drive cross-device web traffic to desired landing pages, to create a travel mindset for target audiences across the globe, and to ultimately drive consumers to book airline tickets and travel to an adventurous luxury destination. I worked specifically with media planners, strategists, account executives, and digital tracking and trafficking specialists. I spent a lot of my time with search engine marketing targeting, trafficking, and remarketing on google, yahoo, and bing. I worked on social media targeting and campaigning on Facebook and Instagram. And I communicated, planned, budgeted, and purchased digital space with display and programmatic partners. In addition to client work, I was also researched and reported on media trends, innovations, and market changes for multiple clients.

I worked at Roxo, TCU’s student-driven strategic communication agency, and worked with several real world clients such as Alcon, Easter Seals of North Texas, and ARTY Water. I was the agency’s main and only media planner, I also helped a lot with account planning and strategy, and I also elected myself as the team’s photographer. Throughout the semester we produced a lot of deliverables for each client, for example I created an extensive contact database for Easter Seals. As a team, we brainstormed and presented our ideas to Alcon, a Novartis company, for their 70th anniversary. We developed logos, vision statements, and multiple guerilla marketing and promotion events, including a plan to install a very large metallic art structure on their main campus.

I also interned at an independent tri-lingual school located on the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico. The school, Na'atik Language and Cultural Institute, was fairly new and hired me on as their online marketing intern to help them grow their social media and web presence. I worked alongside their head coordinator to help plan, design, and launch many of their long-term projects. During my time there, I had to conduct web presence audits for them and their competing schools. I also had to implement a way to attract potential college-aged students for their study abroad program. My plan of action for attracting those students was simple. I decided to create and run for them a larger social media presence using Twitter, YouTube, and Blogger. At that point Na’atik only had a website and a Facebook page, both of which were still fairly new. I also helped generate ideas and plans of action for optimizing their website and boost their fundraising program.

I am highly interested in making a career in advertising; job interests include media planning, new media, and branding. I like to keep a strong balance between work and life. I don't mind rolling up my sleeves and putting a hard day's work in. But I know to counter that by enjoying my free time. I am always looking for new, exciting experiences.  I am an animal lover and enjoy the outdoors. One of my all-time favorite pastimes is film.
